Rugby League Hall of Fame Criteria
Membership of the Rugby League Hall of Fame is restricted exclusively to the greatest rugby league players.
To be inducted, a player must have:
- a record of outstanding achievement at the very highest level of the game;
- a reputation that transcends the era in which the player played; and
- a contribution to the game that will last as long as rugby league is played.
To be eligible for nomination, a player should have:
- played rugby league in the UK at professional level if male, or at the very highest level if Women or Wheelchair player, for at least ten years; and
- ended their playing career at least five years before the date from when the Hall of Fame Panel meets
For a team to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, it must have:
Made an indelible impact on the game, either in an international tournament or over the course of a number of seasons at club level, not less than five years before the date of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
